She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in the province of British Columbia

Her passion for libraries started during her employment at the Prince George Public Library (PGPL), where she held various front-facing roles for nine years. As Kiran progresses in her career, she aims to include topics related to the relationship between mental health and libraries in her research program. Her goal is to bring additional awareness to these pieces and continue contributing to the organizational culture of libraries.
