About me
Jo Ann holds a BA from the University of Lethbridge (1991) and an MLIS from the University of Alberta (1994). She began her academic librarian career at the University of Alberta in 1994 and held positions at Utah State University in Logan, Utah and University of Northern British Columbia in Prince George, BC prior to joining the University of Saskatchewan in 2008. Jo Ann’s professional practice and research focus is on library services and programming that supports student learning and academic success. She has a particular interest in informal and social learning, and how that informs library services and learning spaces for students.
