Registration Desk
Make sure you check in to the conference at our registration desk before heading off to any meals or sessions! Here you can pick up your name tag and ask any questions you might have. The registration desk will be open from 6:45 am to 3:00 pm on Thursday, May 8, and from 6:45 am to 3:00 pm on Friday, May 9.

Using the Sched App

We know libraries deliver crucial services for their communities. This session will review making the case for library staffing increases in a growing community, including the crucial role of formalized long-term planning, and working with your board to determine community growth needs.,

Growing your library is dependent on major funders, and in Ontario this is largely the municipality. Making the case for growth also means speaking to the municipality and their strategic priorities, and this session will also review the importance of being at the table. This session will also briefly review the Ontario library governance context, including provincial data sets and funding models.
